So many artists playing your favorite guilty pleasure songs all day and night. RSVP to facebook Here are the details: It’s time for the KWSS Fall Fundraiser, and we are teaming up with 80/20 Records to bring you some the best local bands in the valley covering their favorite guilty pleasure songs! It’s going to be quite the event, with dinner provided by Buzznbeez Food Truck, raffles, and plenty of guilty-pleasures all night long (look through this event for more details). Ages 16 and up! The Lineup, bands are in order and are performing 20min. sets beginning at 7:30 (with DJ sets inbetween): Vintage Wednesday DAISY People Who Could Fly Panic Baby Ben Anderson Music w/ special guest Gabe Kubanda Bear Ghost Captain Squeegee Good Boy Daisy The Glides DJ sets from MRCH Did you know KWSS is 100% independent, locally-owned and a 501(c)3 supporting the arts, entertainment, and small business commmunity in Phoenix? Everyone involved with the station is a volunteer. Like NPR and PBS, KWSS relies on listener support for operational costs. Items such as music licensing, promotional materials, broadband connectivity, studio and transmitter facilities, insurance, power, web hosting and phones. Directed by Olivier Zahm, ‘Lukewarm’ serves as the prequel to ‘Clay Pigeon.’ The story follows a corporate stiff who has reached the peak of his career but soon realizes that his life has no substance. Champagne bottles, hot chicks, and pillow fights cannot fill his void. Thus, he begins to reject the system. The money bag man, inspired by a late 1800’s American political cartoon character, won’t let his favorite drone go easily. A chase ensues, but the main character has nowhere to run. The worker and his money bag boss engage in a knuckle-bearing power struggle. Ultimately, using a hard copy of the Origin of Species, the main character defeats the money bag man.
