Break The Robot Drops Heavenly Music Video For ‘Life Goes On’

Break The Robot Drops Heavenly Music Video For ‘Life Goes On’

Break The Robot just dropped a breathtaking new music video featuring everyone’s favorite robot- and this time he has wings! Follow the story of Drake as he wander the desert, meets a familiar angel, and comes to terms with how no matter what, Life Goes On. Check out the video:   Description: Hot off the release of their debut album, “Timing is Everything”, Break the Robot documents the mountainous journey of the band’s title character, Drake the Robot, a real lively steampunk robot in the ‘Break the Robot’ universe. Life Goes On is an existential dive into the lonely mind of Drake the Robot. With no master and no mission, he is compelled only by mystical signs and angelic siren calls, pulling him further and further into the wilderness. Break The Robot’s hard-hitting lyrics and powerful melodies act as a passionate backdrop for our heroic, soul-searching man-of-metal. “But it’s in this song, someday, maybe, baby, life goes on”; draws parallels between Drake’s hardships and our own.  His perilous journey makes us all question our own existence and struggles, bringing hope to the modern world, as even a robot… can earn his wings....

He could pull a riff out his butt but then they’d usually go to another planet after that. So I worked with the riff to keep it on track, coming up with other riffs and directions that would make sense for this kind of schizophrenic piece. I had never worked with any kind of folk music before but I knew I could find a way to make it pop with energy to essentially match our personality on stage. Lyrically it’s pretty straight forward, you have a crazy significant other or just relationship that isn’t working out, and instead of breaking it off right away you be...
