Well, it's been a year since my last entry so I guess I have some explaining to do :P. Basically the bands on 80/20 broke up within months of getting started which took a blow on progressing the label. I decided to go on hiatus and think about if I wanted to continue running 80/20 Records. Although I have full confidence in the business and truly think it will make a difference in the music industry, I wondered if this was the right time in my life to attempt something like this. Fortunately, with the support of friends, family, and the members of the previous bands I decided to try again to make this work.
On that note we have very exciting news, we have a new artist! They're called Eleven Fifty Seven and they'll rock your socks off. No really you should check them out. We're really excited working with these guys from California. So far they're performed at The Glass House and Club Sutra with rapper Fabulous. And this is just the beginning.
We're also planning a show next year, I'll tell you more about it when it gets closer. Here's a hint, it'll be on April 1st :).
Next year we're going to do things right and really make a push for 80/20. I hope everyone will enjoy the ride.
