Always alive and rocking, playing Gypsy western folk music, no amplification allowed. A classical combination of bassoon, violin, tuba, accordion, and bass clarinet swirls through the air to get even the driest of glands to pour sweat and the most stubborn of booties to shake. DRYC compares stylistically to Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent, and the Dresden Dolls, and vocally to Zooey Deschanel, Bjork, and Ani DiFranco.
