We are looking for individuals hungry to learn more about the music industry!

This is not your “grab me a cup of coffee” type of position, you will have direct access to the founder of the company and be involved in various aspects of running a record label.  As an intern not only will you get to work closely with the artists, but you’ll also help promote the label itself and organize events.

This is an unpaid internship however only required to work 3-4 hours per week and meet once per week.  Must live in Phoenix, Arizona.

Social Media Intern (1 Available)

We are looking for someone interested in learning how to use social media in the music industry.  This position is ideal for marketing majors, music business majors, and those looking into social media as a profession.  If you’re obsessed with instagram, Snapchat, Facebook or twitter this is for you!


  • Scheduling posts on multiple social media platforms
  • Taking pictures at meetings, events, and other occasions
  • Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns


  • Understanding on how to make posts on social media
  • Use facebook, twitter, and instagram (Snapchat a plus)
  • Basic computer skills

A&R Intern (2 Available)

We are looking for someone who is interested in learning more about the music business.  This position is ideal for music business majors and musicians looking to develop their careers.


  • Research into press, radio, companies, organizations, managers, venues, and others
  • Develop marketing campaigns for 80/20 Records and artists it represents
  • Event planning
  • Manage merch booth at events
  • Update and post information
  • Manage 80/20 Records newsletter
