Gabe Kubanda releases single ‘Back on Track’

Gabe Kubanda releases single ‘Back on Track’

Recorded during the pandemic, Gabe used Soundbetter to find a demo track that eventually led to this bouncy single. We’re so proud to release ‘Back on Track’. LISTEN HERE —Press Release— Recorded during the pandemic, ‘Back on Track’ is about picking ourselves up, making changes in our lives, and the importance of honoring family and keeping loved-ones close especially in trying times. Co-Produced by Devon Quartullo, mixed by Matt Keller (The Maine), and mastered by Mike Marsh (Calvin Harris). Dispirited by studios being inaccessible during lockdown and tours being cancelled, Gabe looked to new avenues for inspiration. This landed him on a “rough demo track that just sounded really cool” on SoundBetter that instantly led to writing melodic and lyric ideas around it. After reaching out to the demo creator Nick Ray, who was excited about this prospect, it led to this collaboration with Gabe’s prior producer Devon (Dancing on the Edge). Gabe has recently released ‘HomeFi’, a lofi chill EP, recorded and self-produced in his home during the pandemic. To celebrate, Gabe livestreamed a listening party on YouTube while painting, something Gabe has never done before. Gabe continues to make an impact with his non-profit EduMusication, providing music and music business education to schools across the country. In addition to conducting webinars for distance-learning music students, EduMusication provided gear and equipment such as midi-keyboards, beat-pads, interfaces, microphones and headphones through their retail...

Turn Zero releases cover ‘Drown’

Turn Zero releases cover ‘Drown’

Alt Rock band Turn Zero releases a raw acoustic take on ‘Drown’ from Bring Me The Horizon.  Featuring Sam from Sore Eyes. Listen here: https://fanlink.to/turnzero-drown   About Turn Zero: Founded by Emily Grieve and John Curtis Sanchez, Turn Zero is a mix between Tonight Alive and early Paramore. Lead singer Emily Grieve was a ranked Pokemon player, competing in official tournaments throughout the U.S. and Canada.  In both the TCG (Trading Card Game) and video game she has won in several cities and states, as well as placing in Worlds. In fact, the band name has a little bit of history behind it. Turn Zero refers to competitive card games when time is called to end the match and the player that is in the middle of their turn is considered “turn zero”.  The significance lies in the fact that the members have been each pursuing music in different ways over the years and when they all came together it just clicked. It was the beginning of the end of a chapter, and they’re one step closer to winning, or should I say, achieving their dreams.    ...
